Assign a champion to review innovation process to access inclusivity of under-represented groups within the business and to review the inclusivity part in different stages of the innovation process. These champions are people who are keen to understand what inclusive innovation is and have already started making an impact within the organisation with regard to inclusive innovation.
Champions can
- Advocate for inclusivity in all organisational innovation initiatives
- Review the innovation processes to ensure they align with the organisational commitment as mentioned in the charter.
- Based on the review they can feedback their views to organisational decision makers so that changes are made to existing practices.
- Share their knowledge on inclusive innovation via sharing stories they have learnt from other organisations, communities, bring in experts in inclusive innovation to have a talk etc., to instigate the thought of inclusive innovation among others in the organisation.
